Thursday the RHS South West in Bloom judge visited the club to assess our entry in this event. The visit took place on one of the hottest days ever, but the general ambience of the club was very good.. This time the judge, who had visited on a previous occasion, took a good look around. He, along with Trudy from the council stayed for a considerable time. As well as Barry there were 5 ladies present. Once the judge had left we had proseco, scones and cream courtesy of Yvonne. Several photographs were taken some of which I have added to this piece.
In the evening the men’s triple’s team took on North Wilts in the Mid-Wilts league, it was a very successful evening, with Calne running out 100-38 (14-0 on points) winners, it was there 5th 14-0 win and their 3rd century this season, well done, we now await the league to see how Winsley & Trowbridge Town have done.
