So far this has been a mixed month, firstly Pauline Brown sadly passed away, she was an honorary member of the club and a regular winner of competitions from 1983 onwards. Our sympathies are with her family and friends at this time. Her funeral is at Semington crematorium at 10-15 on Thursday 23rd February.
Our previous Ladies secretary is still battling against her illness and our thoughts are with her for a steady return to health. On a slightly happier note Stuart our previous Club secretary is now finally our of hospital after his second stay at the RUH following the earlier one at the BRI and is now getting back on his feet.
On a more positive note we have now recieved planning permission to replace our ageing pavilion, now we can go ahead and start raising the required amount to bring this to fruition. Well done to all those involved in achieving this, this will enable the club to be even more inclusive and community minded.
