Well the bowls season gets closer, whilst the weather gets colder!!!
This month 4 things to bring to the attention of the members.
Firstly – Planning permission has been granted by Wiltshire County Council for the new pavilion, now comes the task of raising the funds needed.
Secondly – Membership subscription is due by the 1st April 2023. Payment by bank transfer is proffered, but for those that wish to pay by cheque/cash, our membership secretary Barry will be up the club on the following dates.
Saturday 11th March, 9.30am —-12 noon
Saturday 18th March, 9.30am — 12 noon
Saturday 25th March. 9.30am — 10.30am, prior to ladies meeting.
If you are lucky the kettle may be on.
On Saturday 25th March our ladies will be holding their pre season meeting at The club pavillion at 10.30am. We look forward to seeing you all for the 2023 season.
Thirdly – Bowls England/ Wiltshire have brought in a new members form that must be filled in by all clubs to ensure that members interests are taken into consideration regarding the current privacy laws are covered, members must opt in to allow their details to be used by the club and county for the furtherance of communication within the bowls world.
Finally – A quiz has been arranged for Sunday March 26th at Bremhill View Club, SN11 9EE, 7pm to 9pm. Teams maximum of 4, entry fee £5 per person, but if you want to join in and are not in a team just contact Les or Yvonne and they can make up teams on the night.
There will be a raffle and donations are always welcome, all funds going to the new pavilion.
