Div 3 – Falcons were at home to Trowbridge Town B and had a good win 26-8
Div 5 – Beez were away to BoaLs (Bradford on Avon) and managed a great win 35-9.
Good news in the Bowls Wiltshire National Men’s triples, David Johns team won 27-6 and are now progressing to the last 16 and play J Webster (Westlecot) on the 2nd June away.
Wednesday have the ladies playing in the Bowls Wiltshire league at home to Chippenham Town, start time 18-00pm.
On Thursday there are 2 games in the Mid-Wilts Triples league, start time 18-30pm.
Premier Div – the A team were at home to Avon Roadrunners and unfortunately lost their first game but only by 3 shots. The rink of Barry, Hugh and Yvonne lost and brought their 24 game unbeaten run to an end. Final score 55-58 (2-8 points)
Div 2 – the B team were away to Chippenham Park B and unlike the A team kept their unbeaten run going winning 79-31 (10-0 points).
Both teams are now second in each of their respective leagues only 1 point of the leaders.
Friday is club night, arrive 17-30pm for 18-00pm start.
On Saturday in the 2nd round of the Bowls Wiltshire National Men’s Pairs Competition, Barry Wicks and Dave Johns travelled to Chippenham Park and came away winners 23-17, well done on to round 3.
