On Sunday we were to have a Mixed Friendly away game at Cirencester, unfortunately it was cancelled due to the weather.
We had a home game on Monday in the North Wilts Mixed league against Trowbridge Westbourne, unfortunately we lost on all 3 rinks 36-60 (0-10points).
On Tuesday there are 2 games in the afternoon in the Men’s White Horse league – start time 2-00pm, those being –
Division 3 – Falcons were away to Trowbridge Town B and won 20-11, securing promotion to Division 2, well done lads
Division 5 – Beez were at home to BoaLs and unfortunately lost 14-16. The Cavaliers had an open date.
On Tuesday evening our ladies played in the Nor-west Triples league, away to Chippenham Park, it was a good game but lost by 2 shots, Calne 30 Chippenham Park 32.
Wednesday afternoon there is a rearranged North Wilts Monday Mixed game against Blue Circle at home, despite the rain, the game was completed with Calne winning 48-25.25 (8-2 points)
On Wednesday at 6-15pm in the Bowls Wiltshire Triples league the ladies re at home to Winsley.
Thursday brings 2 games in the Men’s Mid-Wilts Triples league, start time 6-15pm
Premier Division – Calne A were away to Avon Roadrunner and lost 25-62 (0-10 points)
Division 2 – Calne B were at home to Chippenham Park B and won 55-48 (8-2 points)
On Thursday evening our ladies played in a back match away to Corsham they had a good win 35-15, The game started with heavy rain, but thankfully it not stay for long.
On Friday it is Club Night, all welcome, come and partake of our hospitality and enjoy bowls.
The week ends on Saturday when we were to have an away Mixed Friendly at Yate, unfortunately bad weather struck again and it was cancelled.
