On Sunday we played Swindon North End at home and won 72-69
Monday saw the 3rd of the Wiltshire County Ladies Champion of Champions with Yvonne McColl at home against A Roberts-Phare (North Wilts), with Yvonne coming out the winner, now on to the Semi-Final (to be played by Wednesday 6th Sept) away to L Young at Highworth. Good Luck to Yvonne we are all cheering for you.
Tuesday brings 4 games all starting at 2-00pm
Our ladies played the last game of the season in the Seidal league away against to North Wilts our ladies had some good shots but lost 23-10.
On Tuesday evening our ladies played in the Bowls Wiltshire league at home against Winsley, our ladies lost 28-35. This was the last game of the season and our ladies finished 4th in the league, Well done ladies !.
Whilst in the Men’s White Horse League there are 3 (2) games
in Division 3 having already been promoted the Falcons wereaway to Spencer Melksham C, and won 18- 12 giving them the Division 3 title.
In Division 5 the 2 Calne Teams Cavaliers and the Beez are playing each other, the Beez won 14-9, as the BoaLs lost to Devizes the Beez ended up runners-up and will be promoted to Division 4, commiserations to the Cavaliers who finished 3rd in the league.
Thursday in the Mid Wilts Triples league start time 6-00pm
In the premier division tha A team were away to Winsley and lost 47-64 (6-4 points), ending the season 4th in the league, a commendable effort.
in Division 2 the already promoted B team were at home to Spencer Melksham Tigers and lost 38-52 (1-9 points)
On Monday evening our ladies played their last game in BW league against Devizes, our ladies had a win 62-28. The ladies will finish 3rd or 4th in the league depending on the other teams who have games outstanding.
On Tuesday evening our ladies played away to Devizes in the last game of the season in the Nor West League, our ladies won 30-18. The ladies finished second in the league, Well done to all ladies who played in this league throughout the season.
To complete the month on the 30th August we entertain the Wiltshire Masons game against Berkshire Masons. Start time 2-30pm
